About the Position

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Location: Florida

Position Overview

• Outpatient primary care and acute care in a corporate health center setting.
• Order notes indicate this location is ages 6+ and is a dispensing clinic.
• Workers' compensation and occupational health services may be included.
• No pain management.
• Order notes indicate this role must be local to the Melbourne, FL area.

Schedule

• Per diem shifts; see shift schedule.
• Paid shadow or training day may be required prior to first shift.
• Online OSHA and HIPAA certifications must be completed prior to start date.

Clinical Scope

• Patient volume: up to approximately 3 patients per hour.
• EMR: Athena experience preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

• National certification required (FNP preferred).
• DEA required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Travel and Lodging

• Travel support may be available.
• Mileage is approved to be paid for trips 31 miles or more round trip.
